Martin Dieck is a Director in the Silicon Valley office. Prior to joining ePlanet, Mr. Dieck was president and CEO of CardioVasc, a manufacturer of medical implants with biomimetic properties that promote rapid healing and resist rejection by bodily defenses. Previously Mr. Dieck was Co-Founder, president and CEO of Concentric Medical, which was the first company to receive approval from the US government to treat ischemic stroke. Mr. Dieck also served as senior executive at a medical incubator where he evaluated early-stage medical device opportunities and participated in the formation of four companies. Mr. Dieck was also a co-founder of Micro Interventional Systems, a manufacturer of medical devices to treat pathologies in the brain, which was acquired in 1996. In addition to his operational and deal evaluation expertise, Mr. Dieck is also an inventor with numerous issued and pending patents. Martin received his B.A. in Biological Sciences from Willamette University and M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. |
