Manish Gupta is a Venture Partner with the New Delhi office. Mr. Gupta is a Managing Director of IndusView, an advisor to multinational companies on business opportunities emanating from India’s fast-growing economy. Mr. Gupta has over 15 years of experience in consulting, M&A advisory services, private equity, and general management. He has successfully introduced U.S.-based companies into the Indian market over the past year, particularly in healthcare, software, and telecom equipment. Mr. Gupta has previously worked with the Microsoft Corporation where he headed the Telecommunications Business Unit and was responsible for Microsoft's strategy, sales, technical solutions and team development in the rapidly growing telecom industry in India. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Gupta was a senior strategy consultant in the Information, Communications, and Entertainment practice at Mercer Management Consulting in Boston, and also worked as a senior policy analyst at The WEFA Group (now part of McGraw Hill). Mr. Gupta holds a B.A. in Economics from Hindu College and an M.A. in Economics from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
