Huateng "Pony" Ma is the founder, Chairman and CEO of QQ/Tencent Holdings, China’s largest instant messaging platform. He is a successful entrepreneur with strong China market background, having been personally responsible for Tencent’s strategy planning and product development. Prior to founding Tencent, Mr. Ma was in charge of research and development for Internet paging system development at China Motion Telecom Development Ltd, a supplier of telecommunication products and services in China.
