Alvin Wenhai Sun is a Venture Advisor in the Beijing office. Prior to joining ePlanet, Mr. Sun was an Associate in the Investment Banking Department of China International Capital (CICC) in Beijing, where he was responsible for the analysis of proposals for the restructuring of various Chinese corporations. While at CICC, Mr. Sun was involved in several successful initial public offerings, one of which was Sinopec (the China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation). Mr. Sun has also served as Project Manager and Engineer at the China Metallurgical Equipment Corporation, analyzing and often leading international sales efforts in both Europe and Asia. Mr. Sun holds an International M.B.A. from the joint degree program of China’s Tsinghua University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Beijing Science and Technology University.
